Our Story

Three siblings turned their mother's struggle into something that nourishes everyone

Our Mission Statement

Our renal-friendly cookbook was born from a deeply personal journey. As three siblings, we watched our mother face the challenges of chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and eventually a kidney transplant. Along the way, we saw how overwhelming dietary restrictions could be, especially when cultural foods she loved were suddenly limited or unavailable.

Her struggle opened our eyes to a gap in kidney-friendly resources, particularly for families seeking comforting, familiar, and culturally rich meals.
Inspired by her resilience, we set out to create a cookbook that blends medical safety with cultural identity, a collection infused with the warm, bold flavors of Egyptian cuisine.

Our mission is to offer CKD patients and their families recipes that are not only safe and nourishing, but also vibrant, joyful, and deeply familiar. We believe food is more than nourishment, it is connection, comfort, and culture. This cookbook stands as a lifeline for those navigating kidney disease, reminding every patient that delicious, meaningful meals are still within reach. Proceeds from the cookbook aim to support kidney health research.
